The horn antenna is a broadband passive device, shaped like a pyramid horn, referred to as a TEM antenna, which guides the beam of radio waves at a precise frequency. FT-RF Double Ridged Horn antennas have frequency capabilities ranging from 400MHz to 40GHz depending on type and style. These series are characterized by a huge frequency range and extremely high input powers. With increasing frequency, the gain rises to a maximum of 18 dBi. At higher frequencies, the increased gain compensates for the increasing cable losses.

台灣蝴蝶蘭日前因栽培介質發現雜草問題遭美國退櫃。農委會今（20）日表示，與美國緊急諮商後，爭取不立即暫停違規輸美資格，以違規記點制要求業者加強改善，確保貿易順暢。

台灣蝴蝶蘭輸往美國需要依據美國規定辦理，台灣與美國於2004年訂定簽署「台灣輸美附帶栽培介質植物工作計畫」，讓台灣蝴蝶蘭可以附帶栽培介質輸銷美國。然而台灣蝴蝶蘭日前因栽培介質發現雜草問題遭美國退櫃。

行政院農業委員會動植物防疫檢疫局今日發布新聞稿表示，經業者積極落實改善栽培介質（水苔）處理方式、栽培期間及出貨前雜草防除管理，並由台灣蘭花產銷發展協會加強蘭園定期檢查及防檢局提高輸出取樣檢查比率後，已改善雜草檢出問題。

防檢局表示，為維護蝴蝶蘭輸美貿易順暢，已於9月21日與美方緊急諮商，向美方爭取不要立即暫停違規業者輸美資格，並由台灣方面強化源頭自主管理，對於違規業者將要求立即改善並予以記點，嚴重時由台灣方面暫停其資格，避免影響其他大多數業者輸美權益，將持續與美方諮商爭取恢復一般查驗，確保貿易順暢。

防檢局指出，自9月21日迄10月19日完成檢疫的蝴蝶蘭，已有17批抵美經檢疫合格通關，合格率約9成5。

防檢局說明，自9月7日接獲美方通報後，立即通知相關業者改善，並於9月20日及10月13日二度與所有蘭花輸美業者及相關單位討論落實雜草防除管理措施，並提高輸出檢疫檢查比率，由原來的2%提高為4%。

防檢局強調，對於檢出雜草者，除不核發植物檢疫證明書外，也立即輔導業者改善並提高定期檢查頻率；另外配合蘭園業者需求，10月18日再度舉辦教育訓練，詳細說明管理技巧並由業者分享經驗，精進管理能力。
